Privacy policy
What this site keeps, who can see it, and how to have something taken down. Last updated September 30, 2026.
The short version
- This site shares the team's schedule, scores, photos and game video. Families and players don't sign up for anything, and there are no forms to fill out.
- We don't show ads, we don't sell anything about anyone, and we don't use tracking cookies. We count page visits without cookies and without knowing who you are.
- Our players are kids. A parent can have their player's photo or name taken off the site by emailing bluesteelbaseball@gmail.com.
Who we are
bluesteelbaseball.com is the website of Blue Steel Baseball, a youth select baseball program in Sanger, Texas with 11U and 14U teams. The site is run for the team by Saw Tech Solutions LLC, a Texas company (“we” and “us”). Questions about this policy go to bluesteelbaseball@gmail.com.
What the site keeps
Everything below is added by team staff, not collected from visitors. It's stored in our database at Supabase, and apart from the admin login, anyone visiting the site can see it.
- Rosters: each player's name, jersey number and position. No page on the site lists them. They're kept for the scoreboard graphics in our live streams, where a player's name and number can appear. We don't keep player stats.
- Photos and videos: gallery photos and highlight videos, each with an optional caption and team. A caption may name a player. We save a link to each photo, and the photo itself loads from wherever it's hosted. Videos are on YouTube.
- Games: opponent, date, location, score and the link to that game's stream, so the Watch page can show live games and replays.
- Team info: team names and descriptions, coach names, the announcement bar message, and the live scoreboard (score, inning and count) used by our stream graphics.
- The team admin login: one username and PIN shared by team staff, which is checked by the database, not in the page.
If you email us, we have your email address and whatever you wrote, and we only use it to reply.
Players are kids
Our players are 11U and 14U, so many of them are under 13. We never collect anything from players themselves — there are no player accounts and nothing for them to fill in. What appears about a player is added by team staff.
A parent or guardian can ask us to take down or correct any photo, caption, name or stat about their player, at any time, by emailing bluesteelbaseball@gmail.com or asking a coach. We'll act on it within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
Taking something off this site doesn't remove it from GameChanger, which keeps its own copy of the schedule and stats under its own policy.
Services we use
- Vercel hosts the website. Vercel Web Analytics counts which pages get visited, where visitors came from, their country, and the kind of device and browser. It sets no cookies and doesn't know who anyone is.
- Supabase stores the site's data (listed above) on its servers for us.
- GameChanger provides the schedule and live scores on the Home and Schedule pages through its own widget, which loads from GameChanger. Links to our GameChanger team pages take you to GameChanger's site. Its privacy policy covers both.
- YouTube plays the videos on the Watch page. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which doesn't use YouTube's tracking cookies unless you play a video. Once you do, YouTube's privacy policy applies.
- Fonts and code: our fonts come from Fontshare and Google Fonts, and a code library comes from jsDelivr. Like any website visit, your browser's request shares your IP address and browser type with them.
- Social links: the Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and Run The Play links are plain links. Nothing from those sites loads here, and their policies apply once you click through.
Cookies and your device
This site doesn't set cookies, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The site itself saves nothing on a visitor's device. The only thing the site stores is the team admin sign-in: the admin page remembers it in that browser tab until sign-out, and the stream scoreboard control remembers it on that device until sign-out.
Keeping and deleting
Photos, videos, roster details and announcements stay on the site until team staff remove them or a parent asks us to. Email us and we'll delete anything about your player for you.
Changes
If we change what the site keeps or who can see it, we'll update this page and the date at the top first. Our terms of use cover the rules for using the site.
